Well hello there 🙋🏽‍♂️!
It’s great to “meet” you.
Meet Your Host
The government calls me Dr. Carmen Shanté Cofield, but you can call me Maestro, or Shanté if you prefer.
Doesn’t matter to me. Just say it right and say it with your whole chest.
I’m a physical therapist by trade, entrepreneur by choice, and this podcast is my organizational solution to all of the thoughts, ideas, and opinions I had bouncing around my head regarding ChatGPT.

I’m NOT a Coder, and That’s the Point
Perhaps you’re wondering what makes me “qualified” to host this podcast. It’s 2025, which means a pulse and a podcast mic are really the only credentials one needs in order to start a podcast, but it’s my hope that my lack of a background as a coder and the fact that I don’t have any formal tech training will actually make this podcast more relatable and useful to you.
If it makes you feel any better, I built this website on my own with some big help from ChatGPT 🤷🏽‍♂️.
My Approach to AI and ChatGPT
When ChatGPT was released to the public in November of 2022, I was interested and spent about 15 hours making this YouTube video, but it took another 2 years for me to really dive in and get obsessed.
When I realized I could use ChatGPT to diagnose the problem with my ceiling fan, and then successfully replace the capacitor, I was hooked.
Despite how bullish I may sound in some of the episodes of ChatGPT Curious, I’m not here to force ChatGPT on anyone, or use relevancy as a scare tactic to get folks to hop on board. If you don’t want to use ChatGPT, don’t use ChatGPT.
It’s my belief, however, (and the words of its founders) that it’s here to stay, and for me, investigation and implementation are far more comforting than pretending something doesn’t exist.
“For me, investigation and implementation are far more comforting than pretending something doesn’t exist.“
My Background
For a little more background and context, as a physical therapist, my job was to figure out why things weren’t working the way people wanted them to, explain it to them in terms that they understood, and then coach them back to full functionality and their favorite actives.
As a lead instructor for RockTape, my job was to teach movement professionals about how the complex systems of the human body worked together, and how we could influence those systems to help people move and feel better. I taught thousands of students around the world, and my years at RockTape built a rock solid (pun intended) foundation for me as an educator.

From Movement to Maestro
While leaning into my RockTape career I dove into social media marketing, namely Instagram, and built a successful personal brand called The Movement Maestro. I used Instagram to teach movement professionals about the human body, and this led to in-person and online courses that brought me enough financial success that I was able to stop treating as a physical therapist.
I went on to launch a podcast, Maestro on the Mic, that amassed over 1 million downloads, and shortly after Covid hit I fully pivoted into business coaching. Online business coaching is how I make monies these days, helping health and fitness professionals build online personal brands and successful online businesses, which includes teaching them both the tech and strategy side of running an online business.
What Ties It All Together
The common thread through all of this besides teaching? Helping people lean into their passion, show up fully as themselves, and build lives that they truly enjoy.
Right Now Looks Like…
So, here I am, nearly 15 years later, excited about a new tool that I want to teach people about because I truly do believe that it can help us live our best lives.
As it currently stands, my best life means living in Southern California with my amazing partner, Lex, our two kiddos, Rupert and Moose, playing beach volleyball whenever I (physically) can, driving my Hypergreen Jeep, Peggy, and simply enjoying everything that I’ve worked so hard for up to this point.

Let’s See Where This Goes
I have no idea where this podcast will go or what it will become. I did not start it with the end in mind.
All I know is that my head was too full to not start it, and I’ve found ChatGPT to be too helpful for me to not share what I know and help others see what it can do for them.
I hope you’re picking up what I’m putting down. I hope you enjoy what I throw out there. And above all else, I hope you stay curious.
Maestro out.
